2020-2021 Season Updates

Hello City View Skating Club families,

The City View Skating Club Board and Coaches received updated guidelines from Skate Canada Saskatchewan on September 2, 2020 (attached).  The changes to the guidelines now enable us to run programs for more of our skaters.

Registration for CanPowerSkate opened on Friday, September 4, 2020.  CanPowerSkate is for those with previous skating experience such as CanPowerSkate with CVSC or another Skate Canada affiliated club, CanSkate stage 2 and up, enrollment in U8 Ringette and up, and enrollment in U9 Hockey and up.  Please email cityviewskating@gmail.com if you have questions.

Registration for CanSkate Stage 3 to 6 will be part of the Junior Development Program.  This program is currently open in Uplifter.  If you do not know the stage of your CanSkater please email The Club at cityviewskating@gmail.com. 

STARSkate (including Junior Development) and AdultSkate registration have been open since Monday, August 10, 2020.

Hello City View Skating Club families,

The City View Skating Club Board and Coaches received updated guidelines from Skate Canada Saskatchewan on August 20, 2020 (attached).  Since then we have been working through understanding the guidelines and the details required to open registration for programs we are currently able to offer.

According to the guidelines set by Skate Canada Saskatchewan, we are not able to offer CanSkate stage 1 and 2 or PreCanSkate at this time.  We remain optimistic that we will be able to offer these programs January to March 2021.  The Club will keep you posted as new information is available.

Registration for CanPowerSkate will open on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 6am.  CanPowerSkate can only be offered to those with previous skating experience such as CanPowerSkate with CVSC or another Skate Canada affiliated club, CanSkate stage 3, enrollment in U8 Ringette and up, and enrollment in U9 Hockey and up.  Please email cityviewskating@gmail.com if you have questions.

COVID-19 Credits Reminder

For skaters who participated in the 2019-2020 skating year, you may have received a credit because of the shortened season due to COVID-19; this will be reflected on your account and will be applied to the first registration on your account.  The credit can be used for any skater that is on your member account.  See further details on the Uplifter home page.  https://cityviewsc.uplifterinc.com/

Pay in Full or Pay by Installments

City View Skating Club has changed the Payment Options available to members this season.  Under the invoice summary total on the checkout page, there will be a “Payment Option” where you can choose either Pay in Full or Pay by Installments.  You will be required to pay $75 per program at the time of registration.  If you choose to pay by installments the remainder of your balance owed will be applied to your form of payment in equal amounts on the first of October, November and December of 2020.

Hello City View Skating Club families,

The City View Skating Club Board and Coaches have been monitoring the guidelines of Skate Canada – Saskatchewan and the Province of Saskatchewan.  Registration for STARSkate (including Junior Development) and AdultSkate will open on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 6am. 

City View Skating Club is anxiously waiting for further direction from Skate Saskatchewan and we remain optimistic that we will be able to offer CanSkate Programs which includes PreCanSkate, CanSkate, and CanPowerSkate.  The Club will keep you posted as new information is available.

Hello City View Skating Club families!

We are excited to see the return to skating across the province.  Skate Canada – Saskatchewan has provided a staged approach of guidelines for registered Skate Canada clubs and registrants. 

The City View Skating Club Board and Coaches have been monitoring the guidelines of Skate Canada – Saskatchewan and the Province of Saskatchewan and will continue to do so.  At this time a registration start date has not been determined.  City View Skating Club is planning to offer STARSkate, PowerSkate, CanSkate, PreCanSkate, PowerSkate and AdultSkate programs this season.  The Club will keep you posted as new information is available.
